HONOR ROLL!
Jacquelyn co-founded Honor Roll! in 2018, an advocacy group for women+ playwrights over 40, whose goal is inclusion in theater. She also serves on its Executive Committee with Peppur Chambers, Cynthia Cooper, Cheryl Davis, Olga Humphrey, Bayla Travis, Diana Yanez. She led the effort to publish, and wrote the preface for, the Honor Roll! publications, She Persisted: Short Plays by Women over 40 and She Persisted: 100 Monologues by Women over 40. Jacquelyn also started a small “Brain Trust” of organizational leaders, who brainstorm ideas to increase inclusion in theater for women over 50.

LILLY AWARD
Jacquelyn received a 2023 Lilly Award, presented by Evan Handler, for her playwriting and her advocacy.
Honor Roll! received a grant, thank-you Stacey Mindich, of $5000.

NEW YORK THEATER CAMPAIGN
Jacquelyn and Cheryl Davis are on a campaign to meet all of New York City’s Artistic Directors to advocate for increased inclusion for women playwrights over 50.
In 2024, they met with Primary Stages, Atlantic Theater, New York Theater Workshop, Playwrights Horizons, Ensemble Studio Theatre, The Working Theatre, 59E59, New Georges, New York Stage and Film, Rattlestick, MCC Theatre. Check back here for their progress.
